Sarasah Banyak Gariang Waterfall

This tourist resort is also situated in Ulu Gadut, precisely on Sarasah foothills, Koto Baru hamlet, South Limau Manis village, Pauh Subdistrict. The fall is 60 meters in height. Compared to Sikayan Balumuik Fall, this resort has more visitors. In addition to being closer in distance, that is 2 kms from LIK Gadut, the track is not so difficult to go through. The fall is a watercourse running from Sikayan Balumuik. It takes ± 40 minutes to get to the location. In the past, the fall was inhabited by a lot of Gariang fish (a kind of fresh water fish), hence, the surrounding people of Ulu Gadut called it Sarasah Banyak Gariang Fall meaning a fall containing a myriad of fresh water fish.
To get to the site, you can ride a jitney heading to Padang/Pasar Raya-Ulu Gadut with Rp. 1.000,- fare, or ride a cab with Rp. 20.000,- fare. After reaching the LIK Gadut, continue your journey by riding a yellow jitney heading to Koto Baru, with Rp. 700,- fare.
