Padang Beach

Located on the west coast just about 1Kms from The City Hall - Padang beach comes alive in early evening when the locals take to the stalls to watch the sunset while having the taste of a special Padang cuisine called Rujak (mixed fruit) and enjoying the impressive fishermans motorboat lamps off-shore nearby. Without enjoying the late afternoon and tasting the specific food at Padang beach the visit for tourists is incomplete. Some tourist facilities offered are gate, food stalls, children’s playground and stage. Access to the beach by oplets route is called Pasar Raya–Tabing, stop at Hayamwuruk Street with the fare of Rp 1000.
